Sound for video

Paris - Biarritz - London

FROM RECORDING TO POST PRODUCTION

Initially drawn to audio post-production for its artistic impact on a film, I quickly discovered a strong complementarity with location sound recording. I found in it a balance between technical precision and the human dimension of the work: collaborating with crews, discovering new places and events, and facing the daily challenges of working in the field.

After 12 years in the industry, the most formative experience of my career remains my work on the feature film Witz, where I served as production sound mixer, co-editor of the production sound, and assistant sound editor. I later followed the project through the foley recording, ADR, and final mixing stages in renowned studios. Working across the entire production chain has given me a comprehensive understanding of my craft and allows me to quickly identify the best solutions when facing a problem. I have continued to refine my skills through more than a hundred short films, while also collaborating on a wide range of projects such as field television programs and advertising.

Over the years, I have built up an extensive, high-end equipment package designed to meet the specific demands of my work.

Although I am primarily based in Paris, i'm available in London and I also spend a great deal of time in the Basque Country, my home region, where I aim to develop more projects and further strengthen my professional network.

HIGH END

RECORDERS

The Sound Devices 833 is one of the most robust recorders in the world. It gives me considerable flexibility with the management of up to 12 inputs, real-time effects (EQ, compressor, NoiseAssist, MixAssist), and numerous outputs with separate mixing—whether in a cart-based setup with a control surface or in a portable configuration.

My second recorder, the Sound Devices MixPre-6, is useful both as a backup and for smaller setups where discretion and mobility are essential.

WIRELESS BOOM

The Wisycom wireless systems paired with DPA 6060 microphones provide reference-level sound quality and reliability.

A wireless boom is also essential for difficult scenes, especially when working with the support of a boom operator / sound assistant.
